OUR WINTER WONDER RALLY
21-23 June 2023
This year we plan to experience the winter solstice on Tassies sunny east coast at Bicheno where they have promised us a great weekend where the weather is always good, even in the middle of our Tasmanian winter.
WHERE - Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park - Champ St. Bicheno.
WHEN – Sites booked 21st, 22nd and 23rd of June 2023. Come for one, two or three nights. More if you like.
YOU DO NOW – Ring Liz or Butch on 6375 1999 and grab one of our sites. BEFORE 11th of June.
Tell them you are with the Ulysses RV Group so we will all be in the same area.
No deposit is required to book your site.
NOTE – After the 11th any left-over sites will be released to the public so don’t delay because this park is always extremely heavily booked, even in winter.
CABINS – Some are also are available but we don’t have any reserved, so get in quick before they are gone.
THINGS TO DO;
The park is close to the centre of town so very easy walking distance to everything.
While in town we can do things like visit the Blow Hole, climb the Look-Out Rock and survey the scenery, go on some foreshore adventures on the new board walks, go fishing for Mackerel as humongous schools of them swim in with the tide at the Gulch (squid are being caught there at the moment as well), walk out to Diamond Island at low tide, and if the owner is in town on the day Mike can organise us all to privately view 40 of the bikes that were in the old Motorcycle Museum.
Local knowledge tells us that the Sealife Restaurant is THE place to eat in the town nowadays, so we will have a booking for one of the nights while we are there. Mike will confirm numbers that afternoon for those interested. Check it out at - sealiferestaurantbicheno.com
Also, if you wouldn’t mind letting Mike or Gary know you are coming on this weekend by email - tasmania@ulyssesrv.org
It may help us find you all when we get there.
We hope to see YOU there too.
